Oh so pretty, pretty clothing

I love looking at the pretty clothing on Pinterest. It's like window shopping without even leaving your computer or cell phone. I rarely ever pin any outfits, but I like to look at them. I like to see how creative others are with their choices and it does spark inspiration for my outfit choices as well…. so let's all look at pretty pictures!

No Excuse

I have been a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad blogger. There's no other way around it. My life took a major turn last fall and somethings kind of got put on the back burner including Jen Ell's Revenge and this blog. I just needed some me time, but now I have to get my butt in gear. I'm starting by doing a Spring Cleaning Sale over on Facebook. All tops and skirts listed are only $15 shipped anywhere in the  US and dresses are only $20.

To view sizes and item specifics please visit my Facebook Album

If you're interested in any of the items please leave a comment under the image and I will respond as soon as possible.

More items will be added throughout the next week, so check back often

In other news, there are some changes and exciting new things coming, but more about that later. For now, get your hind parts over to Facebook and check out the awesome deals!

LBD and a Beautiful Bow

I decided to do some sewing for me this weekend and here is the out come.

I created this cute little bow  front pencil skirt out of skirt I found in the thrift store. I had to take the sides in a little, and chop some off the bottom. I used the part I chopped off to create the cute little bow on the front.

This I made totally from scratch. I didn’t even make a pattern, I just winged it. There are a couple things that I will change, and since I’m doing this diet I will have to take it in again, so I figured that I would wait until time to take it apart to make some more changes.

It’s about time for me to start preparing for Arts in the Heart, which means I need more room for inventory, so I started listing some things on Ebay. Check them out here: http://www.ebay.com/sch/akajenfer/m.html?item=290704616879&sspagename=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649&_trksid=p4340.l2562

Apple of my Eye Hoodie Giveaway!!!

This is the first in my series of Glorious Giveaways. This is a hoodie that I created when I first really got into sewing. I did not yet, have a serger, so I made the whole thing using french seams. It will easily fit a large to extra large. I was about a size 12-14 when I made and modeled this. It's hard to see, but the black and white print is actually apples.

In order to enter the giveaway, you must visit my etsy shop:

http://jenellsrevenge.etsy.com

and choose one item that you like, post it in the comments here and tell why you like it. You may choose from the items I have up for sale or from the ones that I have already sold.

Then I will randomly choose the winner from all of the comments.

Be sure I have a way to contact you just in case you are the winner!

Contest begins NOW and ends September 25th.

The contest is open to US residents.

Good Luck!

DIY Glitter Tie-Dye

This ain't ya' mama's tie-dye...haha I just wanted to say that, but seriously this is a great twist on the usual tie-dye that you see. Gabriela Delworth takes your normal tie-dye from hippie to glam and slightly edgy by just adding some glitter...now why didn't I think of that. Head on over to her blog to check it out.
