Recipe – Super Quick Chili Cheese Dip

You might be thinking ewwww what is that, but I can assure you, if you like chili cheese things then you will like this.  This is one of my random concoctions that I came up with one day when I wanted some junk food.

Ingredients:

1 can of Castleberry’s Hot Dog Chili

4 slices of American cheese or 8-10 cubes of velveeta

Now, you may ask, are the brands and types of cheese important….yes. Different chili tastes different, but feel free to experiment with your favorite kind. As far as cheese goes, you need to use something that gets creamy when it melts, hence the Velveeta or American, not stringy like cheddar. You could try out something like Mexican dipping cheese, not sure how it would taste though.

Directions:

Microwave in one minute intervals stirring in between until the chili is hot and the cheese melted. Typically 2-3 minutes total depending on your microwave.

You can be a piggie and eat it all by yourself, make just enough for you, or eat what you want and put the left overs in the fridge for later.
